somatic yin yoga

our worth is inherent in our existence

the somatic practice i share with clients is rooted in self. it is a path to loving and understanding ourselves. we relax into postures for 5-8 minutes, fully supported with props, allowing our fascia to release. in each posture we meet sensation within our bodies. clearing our mind of distraction and witnessing our inner oceans.

i enjoy sharing postures you can use everyday to relieve pain. there is an empowering agency that grows as we allow ourselves to own our practice and let it be a place of relief and understanding of self. learning to listen to what is present gives us freedom to address symptoms and pain, to begin walking towards movement without pain.

our practice does not need to be on the mat. yes, it is luxurious when we can give ourselves a juicy hour long practice with time and space to ourselves, but two or three postures sprinkled throughout your day can really change how you feel, and can be done at your desk, while chopping veggies for dinner, and getting ready for bed.

i offer private sessions, designed for your body and intentions.

you can join me, in person, at the marlboro community center on thursday mornings at 8am for a donation based somatic practice.
