I have spent too much of my life trying to shrink myself; Physically, emotionally, & spiritually. Facing the world can feel really hard when our bodies or ‘health’ don’t fit society’s expectations. Trusting our selves to be exactly as we are is one of the most honorable acts we can give to ourselves. It is a process, a cycle, lessons learned over and over again, each time a bit easier, more recognizable more familiar, less destructive.
Let us stop talking about bodies. Let's talk about everything else health is, because health has little to do with the size or shape of bodies, it is linked to our mental, emotional, and environmental circumstance and experience. There are no good or bad bodies. Our bodies are magic.
our worth is inherent in our existence.
I'm Cathlin Star Walker, queer feminist crazy plant lady. I know that loving our selves as we are is vital to our health and happiness. Every month on the dark and full moons I write a newsletter because love. Because fostering love and respect for our selves and each other feels good.
